۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
