۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
