۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
