۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 They are always harassing us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
