۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
