۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
