۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 they have enraged us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
