۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
