۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
