۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
