۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
