۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
