۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
