۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
