۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
