۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
