۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
