۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
