۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
