۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
