۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
