۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
