۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
