۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
