۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
