۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
