۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
