۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
