۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
