۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 they have enraged us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
