۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
