۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
