۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
