۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
