۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
