۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
