3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
