۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
