۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
