۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
