Alshu'araa' 6 of 11
The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
