The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
