The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
