The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
