The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
