The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
