The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
