The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
