The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
