The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
